Masquerade Ball

Of so many lovely images in Sassy Studio Designs, I chose Masquerade Ball Sassy. She brings back the fun memory of 1st or 2nd grade when I collected hand drawn paper dolls. I had a shoe box full in my desk and when I saw a girl in my class drawing a beautiful girl with a wonderful dress, I handed her a piece of drawing paper to draw me one for that collection. I'd have gone to heaven if I had a doll with this masquerade dress!

Masquerade Ball Sassy is colored with Prismacolor Pencils. Sassy's jewelry was detailed with a gold metallic Gelli Roll Pen. The background is from My Craft Studio. The two were merged in Craft Artist 2.

I do hope you will join us in this challenge over at Crafting with an Attitude, as always it's "Anything Goes." Sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.

The Perfect Sunday

Perfect Sunday

Here's Grandpa having a warm cup of tea in front of the fireplace, with his best friend nearby. This is my Crafting From the Heart Design Team card. The digital image is called "Perfect Sunday," and is available at Dr. Digi. The characters are colored with Prismacolor pencil and the tag on the dog was done with a gold metallic Gelly Roll pen. The background came from a My Craft Studio CD and then I merged the colored image together with the background in Craft Artist 2.

As always challenges at Crafting From the Heart is "Anything Goes." The sponsor of this challenge is Dr. Digi.

Alice and the White Rabbit

Alice

ppinky dolls

Ah it's already time for my second post for Crafting From the Heart. The sponsor for this Anything Goes Challenge is Ppinky Dolls.

Here is Alice in her garden with the white rabbit by her side. He's very famous for his quote in the 1951 Disney film Alice i Wonderland, by saying, "I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!" Do you think they are late? I think they are enjoying the peace in the gated garden!

Alice and her buddy are colored in Prismacolor Pencils and the garden is from the digikit "Country Gardens," in the Craft Artist 2 program.

I do hope you will join us in the challenge over at Crafting from the Heart as always it is 'Anything Goes'. Sponsored by Ppinky Dolls.

Come back and see what I'll be doing next.

A Third Design Team OMG

Stardust Fairy

For great Images

                                                  http://www.fitztown.com/digi-stamps.html

Yes, it's true, I now design for http://craftingwithanattitude.blogspot.com/   How cool is that?

So for my first card as a member of this special group, I chose Stardust Fairy by Fitztown.com. She is colored in Prismacolor pencils. Aside from the usual colors, I tried a new blend for her outfit and wings. I used marine green number PC988 and aquamarine number PC905. I'm very proud of her lovely look. Although I am a retired art teacher and of course know the color theory, I have no training in color pencil work and will be working on that taking the Kit and Clowder, "Perfecting Pencils Class." The way I figure it, I can only get better!

Once this little one was colored I placed her in the Serif Craft Artist 2 program with the digikit "Natural Landscapes," using the very first colorful forest background. Here the light is filtering thru the trees, as she dreamily walks down the path.

I do hope you will join us in the challenge over at  Crafting With an Attitude as always it is 'Anything Goes'. Sponsored by Fitztown.com.

I hope you enjoy the Stardust Fairy as I do and come back for another visit!

March 17th is St. Patrick's Day and will be here soon. For my first card for Crafting from the Heart , I picked Lady Luck from our sponsor Sassy Studio. She is colored in Prismacolor pencils with Odorless Mineral Spirits. Lady Luck is cut out with a white edge and glued to a plaid backing sheet, that was printed from my computer. The luck embellishment is from a set by Jolee's Boutique.

I'm honored to join the Crafting from the Heart Design Team and I'm thrilled to be here.

Bugaboo Stamps
Today is my first post as a Design Team member of Creative Ladybirds Creations. I'm really excited to share my card with you. The sponsor for this image is Bugaboo Stamps. They have the cutest expressive line drawings. Don't you just love Ava Flower Patch! The other great sponsors for this month are Lemon Shortbread and Ikes World.

Creative Ladybirds Creations

Derwent Inktense Pencils were used to color up this little darling. The background was created in Craft Artist 2 using the Digikit-"Playground" by Daisy Trail. This digikit is free and I use it often for my cards.

The simplicity of Ava's lines and the childlike bits and pieces of the "Playground" digikit go together very nicely. I used adhesive pearls in the center of the flowers and in the center of Ava's bow.
